About me
I'm a mediator based in Twickenham, southwest London, focused on social impact, helping families and individuals, adults and children, navigate conflict constructively.
Why I became a mediator
Like many others, I'm from a large, complicated family. These formative years can, often unwittingly, play a major part in shaping our ongoing choices.
Growing up, I experienced dysfunctional communication, often knowing instinctively that there had to be a better way to resolution. I think it's possible mediation found me after I had spent decades working in people-based industries at management level, and also as a volunteer supporting women through their breast cancer journey.
How I work
My work aims to reduce the need for you to go to court. I listen closely and empathetically to each client to understand the situation. This enables me to then facilitate co-operative and productive discussion.
The outcomes are yours, but we road-test them together.
Registration and standards
I'm a family mediator registered with the Family Mediation Council (FMC), currently working towards accreditation, and a member of the Family Mediators Association (FMA). I work under the supervision of a Professional Practice Consultant and in line with the FMC Code of Practice.
