This policy explains how I collect and use personal information through this website. If you become a mediation client, I'll give you a separate privacy notice covering how I handle information during mediation.

Who I am

Munday Family Mediation is run by Gillian Munday, a sole trader based in Twickenham, southwest London. I'm the data controller for information collected through this website, and I'm registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number ZC172442.

What I collect

When you use the booking form, I collect your name, phone number, email address, the service you're interested in, your preferred date and time, and anything you choose to write in the message box. Please don't include personal details about your case in the form. I can talk that through with you on our call.

If you email or phone me, I'll have your contact details and whatever you choose to tell me.

How I use it

I use your information only to respond to your enquiry, arrange your free call and, if you go ahead, take the steps needed before mediation starts. My lawful basis is that you have asked me to do this before entering into an agreement with me, and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

I don't use your information for marketing, and I never sell it.

Who sees it

Your information is only seen by me. It is stored by the companies that provide my website and email, who act on my instructions: my web developer and hosting provider, iam39; Cloudflare, which protects the website and its forms from spam and attacks; and Google, which provides my email. The website is hosted on servers in London. Google may store email outside the UK, with the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long I keep it

If you don't go on to use my services, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, your information is kept as set out in my mediation privacy notice.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it or stop using it. To do this, email [email protected]. I'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
